Housing Rights Watch est un réseau européen en cours de développement, créé en 2008 à l'initiative de la Feantsa. Il rassemble dans plusieurs pays européens des groupes interdisciplinaires d'associations, d'avocats, d'universitaires, contribuant à l'assurance d'un droit au logement pour tous.
Son objet :
-
le partage de l'information sur l'actualité législative et judiciaire (bases de données de jurisprudence, analyse des apports prétoriens, suivi de la production normative),
-
l'accompagnement d'actions en justice, au niveau local, national et international,
-
la veille et l'intervention publique sur les dénis de droits factuels et systémiques constatés à chaque échelon,
-
le suivi régulier de l'évolution de la situation du logement, en termes d'accès aux droits,
-
l'accompagnement à la transformation des politiques publiques nationales et européennes, pour un meilleur accomplissement du droit au logement,
-
l'aide à la structuration de réseaux nationaux dans l'ensemble de l'espace européen.
Les membres du réseau sont des groupements nationaux interdisciplinaires intervenant à la fois sur l'accompagnement des ménages en droit et sur une analyse plus globale de la situation. Ils contribuent au partage de l'information et aux efforts communs, à l'échelle européenne.
Des informations également partagées entre compagnons de route, représentant des grandes ONG concernées, des institutions internationales, des services publics, des gens de justice, des travailleurs sociaux, des universitaires indirectement impliqués, etc.
